The Rope of Hope !

Felt no life in me

Shattered as I was

Blaming the world for it

Not knowing the real cause

As it goes in stories

All was pretty well

Suddenly—

Went something wrong

Turning it all into hell

The gloom that spread around

Kept tightening in on me

Smothering me – Killing me

Oh yes!

It was worse than even an enemy

There seemed no way out

I strived – In vain

Fell deeper into the flames

Burnt— Ahh! The pain

Hope!

They say is the ray

Doing wonders,

When life is fray.

It does, I believe it does

By very simple means it does

To me, it just lent a rope

Climbing on which,

I found back my hope,

My aim, my desire,

My wish to live.

And most importantly

It taught

Not to expect

But give
